John R. Zaleski

John Zaleski, PhD, CPHIMS is Vice President of Clinical Applications and CTO at Nuvon. A renowned leader in the biomedical informatics and health care technology industries, Dr. Zaleski brings more than 23 years of experience in researching and bringing to market devices and products to improve health care. Dr. Zaleski has a particular expertise in designing, developing, and implementing clinical and non-clinical point of care applications for hospital enterprises.

Dr. Zaleski holds four issued patents related to medical device interoperability, as well as more than 50 patent disclosures applied for and/or pending. He is the author of numerous articles on information technology and medical devices, and wrote the first book published on integrating medical device data into electronic health records. Vaughan Zakian

Vaughan Zakian is the Founder and Chief Development Officer at Nuvon. For more than 20 years, he has been at the forefront of the IT industry, developing cutting edge designs for network systems and telephony.

Zakian’s vision of the future led him to focus upon the issues of security, quality of service, remote access, and IP technologies. Along that journey, he discovered the problems that workflow inefficiencies created in the safe and timely clinical treatment of patients in the health care system. Vedran Jukic

Vedran Jukic is the Chief Architect and Vice President of Engineering for Nuvon. In this role, he leads the design and development of complex systems and stand-alone devices for Nuvon. Jukic’s active and in-depth understanding of software development, high-grade custom device design, testing, certification, and manufacturing has allowed him to be a team leader and entrepreneur in successful startups throughout Europe.

Throughout his career, Jukic has been involved in developing and applying communication protocols and both their hardware and software implementation. With more than 10 years of experience, his extensive expertise in designing ASICs, FPGAs, embedded systems, encryption algorithms, and distributed software and systems development for enterprise networks has enabled him to be an innovative leader in the development of custom appliances. Mark Hallman

Mark Hallman is Director of Sales and Vendor Relations for Nuvon. In this role he is responsible for identification and cultivation of potential clients, and support for existing clients. He manages the different touch points associated with a direct sales process, as well as building vendor relationships for channel partnerships and OEM relationships.

Hallman brings to Nuvon a strong passion for healthcare along with a proven track record of success in dealing with emerging medical technology.
