WHAT NUVON VEGA MEANS AT POINT-OF-CARE

Nuvon’s goal at the point of care is to mirror your clinician’s current workflow scenario and seamlessly integrate patient data into your electronic medical record. We want to reduce the need for computer clicks and increase the overall patient interaction.

This starts with Plug and Play. Our hardware, called Intelligent Device Managers (IDM’s) comes with our auto-configuration feature. This feature allows any device to be plugged into any port on our IDM, our system then identifies that device and begins the information flow process. No identifying dongles or added workflow complexity - just plug and play.

Once the medical device is recognized, the information is acquired via our Intelligent Device Controllers (IDC’s). IDC’s receive, and transmit patient data to your Electronic Medical Record. Additionally, IDC’s can send device-specific anomalies to clinical or biomedical engineers.
